May 2006 BBQ Fly-In at Stag Air Park |

If you arrive early to a May BBQ fly-in you might be able to become a hush puppy taste tester. Our weather arranger,Sheldon Koesy, out did himself for the event and more than 40 planes and crews attended. New for this fly-in was the performance of a Blue Grass band in Ed Browns hangar, and they were wonderful! Several folks nearly missed eating because they didn't want to leave the audience. We may have to set up the area like a dinner theater next time. We plan to have the band back for our Fall Fly-In in October too. Y'all come back! |
